Human Papillomavirus, also known as HPV, is the most common STD (Sexually transmitted disease) and is the only virus directly linked to a cancer – it is also linked to gential warts. This genital HPV infection is the leading cause of cervical cancer, so it's important to be tested by your gynecologist.
