If You have Genital Warts, Treat It

For those who counts sex partners like they count the number of days in a week or hours in a day, please be aware that there are a good many sexually transmitted diseases floating around ready to infect them or their partners. The most dangerous ones must be that of AIDS; reason enough in keeping  one's sexual escapades to solo or single partner or, at the very least, to the safe of conditions by wearing ample protection should you not believe in limiting yourself to a monogamous relationship. The same applies to a condition that is similar to AIDS but less fatal in its incarnation would the somewhat hideous infection known as genital warts (for lack of a better word). This is however not a common infection, as getting infected would be from sexual encounters with those so affected in the first place. Unlike AIDS, treatment of genital warts are available, especially since it remains one of the most easily recognized sexually transmitted infection there is.

Treatment of genital warts are far more sought private due to the highly explicit nature or not only its transmission, but also the fact that it is a highly visible (private parts wise, that is) infection, just as its term suggests. The infection also comes in other equally colorful names including venereal warts or its more scientific term,  Condylomata acuminata, and anal or anogenital wart. Notwithstanding the different terminonologies, genital warts infections are only from skin-to-skin, direct contact with someone who is already infected and the transmission made during oral, genital and anal sex. It is however quite usual for someone to not realised they are infected and having to seek treatment of genital warts as the infection takes about two months to surface its physical manifestations.
Could one prevent an infection and where does it come from? The second is far easier to answer. Genital warts infections are caused by a group of viruses called the human papilloma virus, or, for short, HPV.  Preventing its infection are either by way of keeping to safe sex all of the time; something not everyone is apparently keen on, or the other being a mainly monogomous sexual individual. There are hardly any medical based cure for genital warts which are not that unlike the ordinary, generally harmless warts. The infections are soft, fleshy and relatively painless growth around the especially private areas of someone infected.
Genital warts infections take nine months to incubate, and they do thrive on the warm and moist environment that perfectly described both private areas of the genital as well as the anal areas. Visually, some small, mostly fine signs would surface during the early months. In some cases of people who suffers from under developed or compromised immune system; for example, those who are pregnant, genital warts infection are exarcebated to the point that cure for genital warts should also be sought as soon as the signs of being infected surfaces. The main reason for this is that aside from the cosmetic reasoning getting rid of the yucky growth, there is a greater danger in that those so infected with genital warts infection are also often susceptible to certain types of cancer.
The association is mainly from the HPV virus, one highly associated with cervical malignancies as well as that of vaginal, anal, vulva and penile cancer conditions. With the skin breaking to accommodate the genital infections, these virus could easily get into the bloodstream of the infected patients. The   concerned is the longish incubation as such that a patient would not even notice that they are infected especially as some of these growth are very, very small and fine. Would be mothers could inadvertantly spread the virus to her baby as a direct transfusion. While there are many kinds of treatment and cure for genital warts, greater care has to be given for pregnant women so that there are no complication to her pregnancy in the first place.
The application of genital wart cream, while, being the easiest to undertake, is less than favorable for pregnant women as the cream's ingredients and medications are absorbed into the blood stream and affecting the baby within. For them, either method of laser or freezing makes better sense in that they removed – rather painlessly too especially for the smaller growth (which turns whitish when they aree swabbed with acetic acid or vinegar) – so that the infection is nipped at the bud in a very literal way of speaking. The next step then would be to get her partner (the husband or the lover) to come clean as to whether he too should get some kind of cure for genital treatment being the primary suspect for the infection that comes no other way.
