Avoiding Genital Warts Infections

Theologically, there are in existence very simple and beneficial reasons for being monogamous in your sexual relationship, and in this current day and age of unfettered access to knowledge, almost everyone who is of right mind knows exactly what they are. For simplicity's sake, let's dwell on the position where the reverse is being the practise, that of someone who is sexually open and very active with multiple intimate partners instead. What would be the dangers inherent in such an wildly amoral life style other than a soul corrupted? Easily enough, the answer is that of the transmission of some of the world most dangerous disease and infections that can only be passed through unbridled and wildly open  sexual relationships. AIDS would certainly come into mind despite its transmission also via other means including blood transfusions, and the other end of the extreme is the genital warts infection. The removal of genital warts at least is possible unlike the curing, say, AIDS and HIV. That is why it is in the other extreme in the equation.
What exactly is genital warts infection? How it is transmitted is very obvious. This is one infection that you can only get from having sex with someone who is already infected by the same conditions. By right whatever acts for the removal of genital warts would have to include possibly infected sexual partners as such, and if you less than monogamous, the sufferer would invariably end up with not knowing who exactly pass on the infection to them in the first place. Just so you know, genital warts are – as the name suggests – icky looking growth (looking something like cauliflowers growing on your body especially in the private genitalia areas) that can sometime be far too fine to detect simply by looking. Running through the areas infected would probably elicit two kinds of feel, either one being the dominant. It can be either the more common smoothness of a cleanly shaved surface, or the aforementioned bumpy surface that typifies the cauliflower infection.
You should know that both are essentially caused by a particularly nasty virus going by the scientific name of human papillomavirus. Most would just identify the virus as HPV for ease of discussion and consultations with the medical fraternity and to help impart the know how to remove genital warts in consultations. This virus attacks areas of the body that are both warm and moist, two characteristics which speaks volume as the area where they are aptly described. An infection will attack a man's penis, from his head right to the length and thee base, the area between the penis and the scrotum is also a likely habitat and for some other, even the entrance to the anus and its surrounding areas. It is also virtually the same for women who are infected, with the virus attacking the female genitalia – the vulva, her vaginal areas, her anus (for those indulging of anal intercourse) and, in some of the chronic cases, even the woman's cervix.
The removal of genital warts before the latter infections is really important as genital warts in such incidences can easily mutate to a full blown cervix cancer. Men who are infected by genital warts are similarly open to such threat; with the cancer cell attacking the penis. This is easily one of the biggest dangers in the seemingly less that debilitating infection that is the genital warts unlike, say, AIDS or even the more common specifically sexually transmitted infection of syphilis. Fortunately,  genital wart medication is more commonly available and on some cases those suffering from such infections would often opt for DIY application of the medication which they usually purchase off the shelf. An act that stems  from the shame of being so infected, probably. Anyway, this method is not recommended as wrongly applied treatment would not do much to assist the removal of genital warts in the first place. It is almost always a better option to seek medical help. The HPV is such that even when you think you are cured after applying topical some anti bacterial solution, the lie dormant in the formerly infected areas waiting for the occasion to bloom yet again. As said, the long term and lasting solution is actually to just stick to one sexual partner and no more.
